Review by Jayce ONeal
While I am unsure exactly how to tell you what this book is, I can tell you what it is not. This book is not spiritual fluff like so many out there. Whether you agree or disagree with the book or whether you like or dislike the book it is difficult to walk away and it not have made you think about God, your life, and this world you live in.
If I had to describe this book in one sentence I would say that it is artistically brainy and spiritually dense. If I had to tell you what the core message of this book was?well that would be more difficult. This is not a linear book, so if you like simple reads about life that contain 8 easy steps to better your life, than you might want to pass on this book.
However, if you are open for a challenge, than give Tilt-a-Whirl a read. It is a smidge C.S. Lewis, and yet completely unlike him as well. It is a pinch like Blue Life Jazz, but rather than making complex things simpler to understand it makes complex things?a bit more complex. It is a carnival ride that may leave you excited and energized or send you running for the nearest trash receptacle to expel your dizziness and disorientation.
